Meet Meg

Meg’s yoga practice began in 2003 after she graduated from college and realized that adults are supposed to have a fitness regimen. After exploring many different formats, yoga became her primary focus and passion.

The next decade or so was filled with thousands of classes taken with dozens (if not hundreds) of teachers in so many styles: vinyasa, ashtanga, restorative, yin, hot yoga, power yoga . . . Meg also spent this time reading endlessly about the history, philosophy and practice of yoga.

In 2017 Meg decided to formalize her yoga education with a 200 hour teacher training at Yoga by Degrees in Elmhurst, IL. Since then she has completed 300 more hours of official training, plus dozens (if not hundreds) of hours of continuing education workshops, smaller trainings and readings.

She currently teaches weekly classes and the occasional workshop at studios around the western suburbs of Chicago while also offering many opportunities for private and small group instruction.
